Murmur - Current group exhibition at Flowers Gallery, London
2 July - 3 September 2016
Curated by Magali Avezou
Murmur draws on Alfred H. Barr’s distinction between intellectual and emotional abstraction, focusing on the latter. Bringing together five young artists working with non-representational photography, Alessandro Dandini, Tom Lovelace, Giulia Marchi, Ryan L. Moule, Sophy Rickett, and soundtracks devised for the exhibition by Felicia Atkinson and Leo Komazawa, it explores the intuitive and metaphysical aspects of abstraction.
